3 Raw Vegan Sauce Recipes
Here are 3 of the sauces I made at my last community raw vegan dinner!
They were so good not to share. Sauces add so much value to any dish which is why I love making them by scratch.
Macadamia Sour Cream -
1 cup macadamia nuts (soaked)
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup water
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp sea salt
2 tsp maple syrup (optional)
Blend in a high speed blender!
Cilantro Lime Sauce -
3/4 cup cashews (soaked)
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
2 garlic cloves
3 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 cup water (more if needed)
Blend in a high speed blender!
Cashew Cheese -
1 cup cashews (soaked)
1/2 red bell pepper
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 garlic cloves
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
1/2 cup water (more if needed)
1 tsp salt
Blend in a high speed blender!
Soak your nuts for up to 4 hours in cold water or 1 hour in hot water.
